  Monday 12.00 pm – 8.00 pm, Tuesday-Saturday 8.00 am – 3.00 pm.

• Board Games Lending Library
  Monday-Tuesday 8.00 am – 3 pm, Wednesday-Thursday 8.00 am – 6.00 pm, Friday 8.00 am – 3.00 pm.

From August 4th to 31st, 2025, the Silesian Library will be closed (the main building at the Plac Rady Europy 1, in Katowice and Bibliotherapeutic Department at Ligonia 7) due to the reinstallation of the system (the Integro library catalogue) and the maintenance works on the automatic storage.

• During the period mentioned above, orders and book rentals will not be carried out.
• Returns of books can be carried out on a regular basis, using the drop box. Returns will be registered in the reader's account only after the system has been completely reinstalled.
• Orders sent to the book-o-mat can be received until August 3rd, 2025 (the last orders can be sent until July 31st, 2025).
• Circulation cards will be confirmed from Monday to Friday 8.00 am – 2.00 pm – library entrance from Damrota Street (contact at the security desk  / concierge).

From July 4th to August 31st, 2025, the Media Library of the Goethe Institute will be closed.
On other dates, opening hours remain unchanged.
